Saboosa's Burp (bedtime story)

Saboosa's Mom and Dad
One day, Saboosa was having lunch with his family, Saboosa's Mama, Saboosa's Daddy and Saboosa's Little Brother.

Saboosa's Little Brother wanted so badly to grow bigger than Saboosa, so he tried to eat more than Saboosa. Whenever Saboosa reached over to get some more food onto his plate, Little Brother would fight him for it. Saboosa let his Little Brother have whatever food he wanted.

After Saboosa had eaten enough, he let out a loud "BURP!"

Saboosa's Burp was so loud, that it echoed all over the house and all through the mountain and the forests around.

BURP!!! urp... urp... urp... urp... urp...

Saboosa's Big Burp
Saboosa's Little Brother was so jealous of Saboosa's loud burp. He quickly got a box and captured Saboosa's Burp inside it.

"I've got it now!" Little Brother cackled. "I've got your Burp, Saboosa!!!"
Little Brother takes Saboosa's Burp
Saboosa pleaded with his Little Brother, "Let it go, Little Brother. Please!"

Little Brother ignored Saboosa. He brought the box up to his room.

Saboosa's Mama shook her head at her boys.

Saboosa asked his Mama if he could go and visit Bell in the forest.

"Go ahead, dear," Saboosa's Mama gave him a kiss. "Have fun!"

Saboosa walked down the mountain toward the forest. Everyone could hear him coming. Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Bell knew her friend, Saboosa, was coming to visit, so she met him halfway.

"Did you hear that loud echoing sound, Saboosa?" Bell asked excitedly.

Saboosa was glum. "Yes. It's my Burp."

Bell was impressed. "Your burp? WOW!!!"

"Yeah, well, my Little Brother caught my Burp in a box and now he has it in his room."

"No way!" Bell couldn't believe it. "We have to get your Burp back!"

"I can't. Little Brother would never give it back. And I can't hurt my Little Brother. He's so small, you know," Saboosa sat on a rock.

"Don't worry, Saboosa. I'll help you," Bell pulled at Saboosa. "Come on, let's go back to your house."

Bell sat on Saboosa's shoulder as they made their way back to the mountain. Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Saboosa's Mama was very glad to meet Bell. She was happy to see Saboosa with a friend.

"Where's your Little Brother's room?" Bell whispered to Saboosa.

Saboosa pointed to the door to Little Brother's room. Bell gave him a wink and snuck into Little Brother's room through the keyhole.

Little Brother was sleeping soundly on his bed. His hand rested heavily on the box.

Bell flew up to Little Brother's nose and tickled him with her wings.

Little Brother heaved and sneezed in his sleep, lifting his hand to scratch his nose.

Bell pulled the box open and set Saboosa's Burp free.

BUUUUUURRRRPPPP!!!!! URP... URP... URp... Urp... urp... urp... urp...

Burp in a box
The loud Burp woke Little Brother and echoed throughout the house and all over the mountain and forests surrounding. Then Saboosa's Burp flew up into the sky like a butterfly.

"Bye, Burp!" Saboosa waved from the ground below.
