The Saboosa Book is HERE!

Saboosa and the gang are so excited about the new book, Saboosa's Burp. It arrived fast from the kind folk at blurb.com - and it looks great.

Malaya was excited to have a real book of her story about Saboosa and Little Brother. She got so excited, she asked to play with the Saboosa Toys we made a while back out of Sculpy Bake and Bend.

Here she is acting out more fairy tales about Saboosa and his family. The little toys are a great tool for developing new stories and relationships between the characters she invents.

Malaya enjoys making up stories about Saboosa at bed time, then together as a family we are making books, blogs, and cartoons as a fun process to turn our kid onto books, art, and reading. Beyond that, she learns that books and cartoons are things that people make, and that she can make them. Media is becoming a second nature language to her, and she finds it exciting.
